   International Church Services

The International Ministry has moved to the facilities in the basement of First Baptist's main church building. There are six sets of stairs leading to the basement, but the primary entrances are from the stairs located at the 8th Street entrance (under the stained glass window depicting Jesus Christ) and from the front of the Chapel.

 

Iglesia Latina Spanish Mission Church - Pastor Rev. Sidney Hiers

Iglesia Latina meets each Sunday morning in the basement area under the Chapel in First Baptist's main building. Worship services are held at 11:00 a.m. A Bible study is held each Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m.

 

Chinese Christian Church - Leader Dr. James Wang

The Chinese Christian Church meets each Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, located on Greensboro Avenue next to the Sanctuary. A Prayer Service is held each Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. in the basement area under the Chapel. There also a Friday Night Fellowship and Bible study held each Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the basement under the Chapel.

 

International Sunday School - Each Sunday 9:45 a.m.

Classes for studying the Christian Bible meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Classes are available in Chinese, Spanish and English. We meet in the rooms under the Chapel and Sanctuary in First Baptist's main building. A class for children meets in the basement as well. Children may also attend Sunday school in the Children's Center, located on 23rd Avenue.

  English As A Second Language Classes (ESL)

Thursday Classes 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Sunday Classes 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday Classes 6:15-7:45 p.m.

English as a Second Language classes are free and open to anyone. The classes are held Thursday mornings and Sunday and Wednesday evenings in the First Baptist International Ministry area located in the basement under the Sanctuary and Chapel of First Baptist's main building. New students may simply attend class to register. All levels are offered from beginner to advanced. Childcare and transportation are available upon request.
