Adult Ministry

Adults of all ages have many opportunities for study, spiritual growth, service and fellowship at First Baptist. Small group studies on various topics and support groups prepare adults for living as a mature Christian in today’s world.

Small Group studies for Adults are listed in the Sunday Nights at First brochure and the Wednesday Nights at First brochure.

Two New Studies:
Does God Exist? A video-driven study featuring Dr. Stephen Meyer led by Larry Williams, Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Dr. Meyer will help us examine the evidence and provide the tools needed to defend our faith and make it our own.  From the creators of Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project. Why They Stay –  A video-driven study (based on the book, Why They Stay) featuring the author Dr. Steve Parr led by Joe Armour on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in room 313, Family Ministry Building.  One of the biggest concern of parents today is this: “Will my children stay in church and true to the Christian faith once they leave home?”  In this study parents and church leaders will discover 15 factors that make a great difference in the likelihood that children and teens will remain in church as adults.
