There’s a lot going on in our international ministry! From English as a Second Language classes on Thursday afternoons and Wednesday evenings, to Spanish and Chinese Church meetings on Sunday mornings, there are many ways to get involved with our initiatives and activities. Whether you’re visiting from another country or you’re an American interested in serving those who are, we have a community for you where you will feel welcomed, encouraged, and equipped to learn (or teach!) English and learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Conversational English Classes
Wednesday evenings, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Thursdays, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Free English classes for adults available for all levels. Preschool childcare available during Thursday classes. Children’s activities and childcare available during Wednesday evening classes. Tuscaloosa Chinese Christian Church (TCCC)
Sundays
The Tuscaloosa Chinese Christian Church meets for worship on Sundays at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, both in person and online by Zoom. Bible study class meets at 10:00 a.m. in the International Suite downstairs from the Chapel.
Fridays
A fellowship and Bible study is also available on Fridays, both in person and online. A Singing Session is from 7:30-8:00 p.m. in the Chapel, with a Fellowship (Bible Study and Sharing time) from 8:00-9:15 p.m. in the Chapel. Every last Friday of the month there is also a covered dish meal from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the basement area.
