Second-Hand Rose Ministry
The Second-Hand Rose Ministry began when a group of First Baptist members began meeting on Monday mornings to repurpose the flowers from the Sanctuary arrangement into smaller arrangements which they then delivered to members who were in area nursing and retirement homes, or homebound. This has grown into a dynamic flower and visitation ministry that uses the Sunday flowers and purchased flowers to create and deliver a multitude of small arrangements each week all over town.
