Hearts : A Prayer Shawl

Hearts" meet the
1st Wednesday of
each month at 11:00
a.m. in Room
308
of the Children's
Center. The ladies
crochet shawls for
individuals as they pray
for them. Facilitator is
Gail McCollum.

Sweet Dreams
Ministry |

The Sweet
Dreams Ministry sews
cute and colorful
pillowcases for
distribution to cancer
patients who are
hospitalized. Times and
days are to be
announced. Facilitators
are Lisa Fitzgerald and
Stacy Cabiness.
Workdays will be
scheduled as needed.
You may
come and go or stay as
long as you want. No
previous sewing
experience required.
Seamstresses, please
bring sewing machines.
Some fabric is provided.
These pillowcases are
given to the pediatric
oncology patients at
Children’s Hospital.

Encouraging Hearts |
|
|
 The
new First Ladies
Ministry, Encouraging
Hearts, is designed to
provide a way to show
women in our community
that someone cares about
them. In this ministry,
volunteers visit someone
and deliver small
baskets and care
packages as a tangible
reminder that someone is
praying for that person.
Baskets are filled with
items based on the
situation of the person:
a devotion for new
mothers, crossword
puzzle book for someone
homebound, etc., plus
lotion, soap, candles,
thank you notes, and
other simple items. Each
basket also includes a
special prayer card. |

Connecting
Hearts |
|
|
Connecting Hearts
provides a way for women
to connect with another
through life experiences
and interests.
It's My Turn Now:
Sharing and encouraging
each other in dealing
with decisions for aging
parents or other family
members.
Making It!:
Sharing and encouraging
others who are dealing
with breast cancer,
those who have survived
it , or those who know
someone dealing with it
now.
Single Living:
Whether widowed,
divorced or never
married this group is
for you. Ladies get
together to share,
support and just enjoy
each other's friendship.
Girlfriends:
Ladies of all ages get
together for a time of
fellowship. This is a
great time to relax with
friends as well as meet
new friends. This group
meets at 10
a.m. on the fourth
Tuesday of each month in
Room 308 in the
Children's Center.
Woman To Woman:
Ladies meet in the
Children's Center to
share and encourage each
other through life
experiences.

one time assistance to
people in need, as
appropriate.

Hearts |

Caring Hearts is a card
ministry, touching First
