Reformation Overview: 6-7 p.m. the Fellowship Hall
This fall will be the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. On October 31, 1517 Martin Luther, a German Catholic monk, nailed his “Ninety-Five Theses” on a church door in Wittenburg, Germany. This prompted a massive theological debate and led to the Protestant Reformation. In this study we will learn about Martin Luther, other great leaders, and pivotal moments of the Reformation. We will explore themes such as knowing Scripture, justification by faith alone, God’s providence, separation of church and state, and more. Please join Joe Armour for this special six-week study.
