Community Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 13, 9-11 a.m.
Queen City Park on Jack Warner Parkway
Join us for our Community Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 13 at Queen City Park (at the Warner Transportation Museum, 1901 Jack Warner Parkway). The fun starts at 9 a.m.; staggered age-based egg hunts (babies to 5th grade) start at 9:30 a.m. Before and after the egg hunts, your family can enjoy games, crafts, and activities stationed around the park. In addition, your family can enjoy discovering the Easter story while walking down a nature trail! For more information or to volunteer, please see David Jennings (david@fbctuscaloosa.org). In the event of rain, we will move the Easter Egg Hunt to First Baptist Church.

Family Dedication Service

The next Family (baby) Dedication will be Sunday, March 24. This is a very special time in our church when we dedicate our newest additions to the Lord. We’ll also host a special brunch and discovery fellowship during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45) in the Fellowship Hall. Extended family members are welcome to attend. Pictures may be made during this time.

Military Care Packages Project

On Tuesday, March 26, First Baptist will send care packages filled with snacks, comfort items, magazines, writing materials and other acceptable items to men and women deployed in all branches of the US military.
Ways to Help:
DONATE ITEMS TO FILL BOXES. Look for the marked bins near the church entrances. The approved supply list is available HERE. You may also donate funds which will be used to purchase items in bulk.
HELP PACK BOXES. Volunteers are needed on Monday, March 25 at 10 a.m. to set-up the Fellowship Hall for the packing party, and on Tuesday, March 26 beginning at 9 a.m. to pack the boxes. Our goal this year is 200 boxes!
