Adult DiscipleLife Studies

Two New Studies Beginning March 28:
Does God Exist? A video-driven study featuring Dr. Stephen Meyer led by Larry Williams, Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Dr. Meyer will help us examine the evidence and provide the tools needed to defend our faith and make it our own.  From the creators of Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project. Why They Stay –  A video-driven study (based on the book, Why They Stay) featuring the author Dr. Steve Parr led by Joe Armour on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in room 313, Family Ministry Building.  One of the biggest concern of parents today is this: “Will my children stay in church and true to the Christian faith once they leave home?”  In this study parents and church leaders will discover 15 factors that make a great difference in the likelihood that children and teens will remain in church as adults.

Esangalo Children’s Choir

Esangalo Children’s Choir Tour will stop at First Baptist on Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All age groups will meet together for the concert, presented by this wonderful group of children from Uganda.

Thursday Prayer

The Chapel is open each Thursday for prayer from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Come at any point during that time to pray individually or as a small group. Use a portion of your lunch break to spend a few peaceful moments in prayer. Meet a friend to pray for a need and to offer praise and thanks to God.
